Hopefully these are signs of Gomez starting to get comfortable and of things to come. It really shows flashes of some exciting performances.</description>

In the past few days, Gomez has been on fire. He is now hitting .250, and is 5-9 in his last ten at-bats.

Today he went 3-4 with a walk, two-run homerun, two steals, three runs and two RBI.
